SCOTTY MCCREERY’S RISE & FALL RECEIVES CRITICAL PRAISE

IN YEAR-END LISTS RANKING BEST COUNTRY ALBUMS OF 2024

Scotty McCreery Receive Industry Recognition in Year-End Lists

Nashville, Tenn. – Triple Tigers recording artist Scotty McCreery is ending 2024 on a high note as his highly acclaimed sixth studio album, Rise & Fall,
continues to earn widespread recognition as one of the year’s most significant country music projects.

Released in May 2024, Rise & Fall has garnered praise from critics and fans alike, solidifying McCreery’s place as one of country music’s leading voices.
The album features an array of fan favorites, including McCreery’s sixth #1 single, “Cab In A Solo,” and explores themes of love, faith, heartbreak, and the passage of time.

Rolling Stone, which profiled McCreery earlier this year in anticipation of the album’s release, has continued to champion Rise & Fall in its prestigious “Best Country Albums of 2024 list.
Senior Music Editor Joseph Hudak writes:

“Scotty McCreery, the fresh-faced kid who won American Idol back when he was 17, is all grown up on Rise & Fall, a record that leaves little doubt about the North Carolina native’s country bona fides. Over 13 tracks, the 30-year-old sings about the cruel passing of time, crises of conscience and faith, and drinking a whole lot of beer. It’s a country album every bit as legit as Jamey Johnson’s That Lonesome Song — McCreery’s favorite — and one that fans of “real country” need to hear. Start with the Garth Brooks-inspired rave-up “Can’t Pass the Bar” or the brooding “No Country for Old Men,” which finds a jaded narrator longing for a bygone era in country music: “Those days are gone/and they ain’t comin’ back again.” McCreery is here to prove him wrong.”

Following Rise & Fall‘s inclusion in Billboard’s “Best Albums of 2024 (So Far)” list, McCreery received an honorable mention in the magazine’s “Staff Picks: 10 Best Country Albums of 2024.”
Billboard Staff Writer Jessica Nicholson and Executive Editor Melinda Newman noted that each of the albums included in this list “highlights not only the talents of artists within the country space, but also songwriters’ work in constructing music that has resonated with fans this year.”

Hollerpraised McCreery’s continued evolution as a vocalist and songwriter, while People noted that the project “brims with a newfound confidence and maturity,.” Country Now declared it “his best record yet,” and American Songwriter called Rise & Fall a “career album,” as McCreery tackles a range of personal and emotional subjects.

Produced by McCreery’s long-time collaborators Frank Rogers, Derek Wells, and Aaron Eshuis, Rise & Fall marks a milestone in the his career,
earning recognition not only for its commercial success but also for its emotional depth and artistic maturity.

With Rise & Fall, Scotty McCreery continues to redefine his sound and leave a lasting impact on the country music landscape.
